Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse

If you’re looking for the ultimate Texas Steakhouse experience and feel like balling out on a nice dinner, head to Nick and Sam’s. I can honestly say that Nick and Sam’s delivered one of the most extravagant dining experiences of my life. With appetizers like caviar and sushi rolls, followed by a full-on steak menu presentation (literally, they bring you a table of meat to choose from), you’re sure to enjoy every last bite of your meal. And don’t even get me started about the giant light-up rainbow cake and cotton candy that you can order for dessert…Why am I hungry all of a sudden?

Dahlia on Ross

This spot is the perfect mix of classy and casual. The majority of the restaurant is on an outside patio with a wooden ceiling of hanging plants – how cute is that?! When I was there, the service was super friendly and helpful, which made the food and drinks even better. The menu includes unique cocktails (I recommend “The Dahlia” cocktail) and a variety of scrumptious flatbreads and pasta.

Jaxon Beer Garden

Right in the heart of Downtown Dallas is the Jaxon Beer Garden, which is a great spot for brunch or an early afternoon cocktail. I ordered the avocado toast (my go-to brunch order) and it was delicious! The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area where you can gather with your friends around a fireplace on the chillier days, making it an ideal restaurant for any time of the year.

This is one of my favorite restaurants that I dined at during my week in Dallas. While the food and drink presentation was on point, the ambiance of Paradiso is what really grabbed my attention. It’s basically the definition of “trendy” and there are literally two giant trees in the middle of the outdoor patio area. This was totally up my alley and I definitely recommend!

Perry’s Steakhouse

Best known for their pork chops, Perry’s Steakhouse is another fancy-feeling “wine and dine” experience, which makes for the ultimate date night or celebratory meal. I don’t really eat pork, so I ordered the steak, lobster mac and cheese (this is a must), and the asparagus. All of it was absolutely mouth-watering, to say the least. But the best part? The flaming desserts. Literally, they light ice cream on fire and put on a whole show in front of your table.

Sky Blossom

If you’re looking for a brunch spot with a gorgeous view of Downtown Dallas, look no further than Sky Blossom. It’s the classic rooftop restaurant and bar experience, complete with quirky, colorful drinks and a diverse menu of Asian cuisine. You need to try the spicy tuna taco and pad thai!
